Return of the Back Alley Wizard Review: A Fresh Take on Reincarnation?
Let's be honest: regression manhwa are a dime a dozen right now. Usually, the MC dies, wakes up in the body of a spoiled noble with infinite wealth, and just buys their way to the top. But Return of the Back Alley Wizard (also known as The Back Alley Mage’s Second Life ) takes a slightly different route. The story kicks off with brutal betrayal. After seeing his teammates slaughtered, the MC fights his own master over a grimoire, dies in the process, and regresses. But instead of returning to a life of luxury, he wakes up as a literal street orphan. He has to build his magical foundation from absolute scratch, which makes his journey feel significantly more earned than your typical OP-rebirth story.
