The MC still has his ruthless villain mindset, but now he has to adapt to a world of modern hunters and smartphones.
Best moment: Watching an ancient, bloodthirsty warlord get annoyed by modern inconveniences and arrogant D-rank hunters is endlessly entertaining.

Honestly... Ihwa might be one of my favorite female MCs in recent years. In a world where "Heroes" rule with absolute authority, she decides to become a villain specifically to hunt them down. The combat choreography is incredibly fluid, and she genuinely does not care about playing nice.
6. I Grow Stronger By Eating!
The Setup: This MC, known simply as "Mr. Kim," is a complete psychopath. His ability is exactly what the title says: he absorbs the powers of whatever he consumes.
My take: This feels like a darker version of a standard Isekai but with zero morality. When he gets transported to a fantasy world, he doesn't try to save the kingdom or build a harem. He just looks at dragons, knights, and monsters and wonders what they taste like. It is wild.

3. FFF-Class Trash Hero

Kang Han Soo defeats the Demon King, but the gods of the fantasy world give his personality an "F" grade and force him to restart his 10-year adventure. Does he learn to be a better person? Absolutely not.
Best feature: He treats the fantasy world like a toxic gamer trying to speedrun an RPG. He relies on blackmail, murder, and manipulation to skip quests. It is a hilarious takedown of the entire Isekai genre.
2. I Am the Fated Villain
The Catch: Gu Changge is transported into a cultivation world, but the system explicitly tells him his role is the "Destined Villain." Instead of trying to fight his fate, he leans into it completely.
Why it’s top-tier: I love how smart he is. He actively hunts down "Sons of Fortune" (those generic, lucky chosen-one heroes), steals their opportunities, takes their allies, and ruins their reputations with brilliant, cold calculations before finishing them off. He literally farms protagonists for EXP.

The Undisputed King: Zhuo Fan. Honestly, he might be the most ruthless villain MC I’ve seen so far. As the ancient Demonic Emperor, he was betrayed and killed. Reincarnated into the body of a lowly servant, he uses forbidden demonic arts and terrifying intelligence to scheme his way back to the top.
Final Verdict: What makes Zhuo Fan the best is that he never softens up. Even when he forms alliances, he is usually just using them as pawns. It is Machiavellian politics at its absolute finest. If you read only one title on this list, make it this one.
