Plot Summary
Helmut was a child who had been abandoned in the Demonic Beast Forest at birth.

Main Characters
- Helmut: The protagonist of the original work.
- Ella (Elaga): A named monster placed in the center of Pahe's forest. A white giant leopard with a cloud-like pattern. She picked up the abandoned newborn Helmut and raised him. Because she taught him language and cooked his meat, she is affectionately nicknamed "Leopard Mom" by readers.
- Darian Difert: A human who rented a part of Elaga's realm and became Helmut's swordsmanship teacher. Formerly the strongest swordsman in a desert nation, he was betrayed and locked in the forest. Before dying, he asked Helmut not to kill Elugo.
- Naho: A named monster that has a bad relationship with Elaga and Darian. A giant white lion with two heads, he enjoys human flesh and runs a human farm in his realm.
World Settings & Lore
- Magi (Demonic Energy): An energy that turns magical creatures into monsters. It seems it can be produced or replaced by negative human emotions (pain, fear, hate).
- Vis: A power equivalent to an aura in a typical fantasy novel.
- Sprouts of Darkness / Monster's Core: Traces of the past demon lord's wars in this world. A round core contained in every monster's body. In humans, it is called the 'Sprout of Darkness'. It grants abilities to a fetus but consumes their mind as they grow, turning them into rampant monsters.
- Forest of Fahe: A forest quarantined around the temple with a holy barrier because the magic was too thick. Felony criminals are often banished here. It is divided into five realms:
